Our best pupil and student of the month come with little or no surprise as these two learners are not only seniors in their respective sections of the school but also possess intelligence and stellar character that have become second nature to them.
**Primary School Pupil of the Month: Oke Mary**
Oke Mary, a pupil in Basic Six, continues to amaze us with her achievements. She is gentle, neat, brilliant, diligent, and hard-working. Actively participating in all class activities, Mary was celebrated as one of the CA champions last term. Her exceptional performance at such a young age is truly inspiring. Many of us may not have exhibited such excellence during our primary school years, but Mary’s accomplishments leave us in awe. Congratulations, Mary!
Secondary School Student of the Month: Olajide Lawal
Olajide Lawal, an SS2 student, has been selected as the Secondary School Student of the Month. Known for his diligence and unique approach to learning, Olajide stands out with his academic prowess and eagerness to acquire new knowledge. He is always composed and ready to take on responsibilities. His exceptional qualities make him a role model for his peers. Kudos to you, Olajide! Keep up the excellent work, champ! We look forward to better academic and behavioural achievements from you as you enter your ultimate class in your Secondary school journey.

Good Shepherd School Student of the Month Criteria
Who Nominates?
The student of the month will be chosen by classroom teachers, prefects and class teams. Every month class teams comprising of 5 students chosen at random will be called up to take part in the selection process along with prefects and teachers. One student per class is then selected as the student of the month for that class.
The criteria for selection:
Academic Performance: good grades, class participation, completion of assignments on time
Character: displays honesty, a good attitude, dependability, hospitality, sincerity, perseverance, trustworthiness, shows respect to peers and authority, well mannered
Effort: hard work, determination, persistence
Leadership: displays integrity, willingness to help others, respect, responsibility in creating a positive school environment and encourages peers to do the same
Attendance-- attends school regularly and arrives to school and classes on time
Citizenship: willingness to help fellow classmates, demonstrates good behavior outside the classroom, connects with peers and the school via social media
School Spirit: takes part in extra curricular activities, active member of student clubs
