March Edition

It is with great joy that I welcome you into this victorious new month. I offer immense gratitude to Almighty God for all He did in February and for counting us worthy to see this new month. In this new month, I would like us to explore the lifestyle of a winner according to the Bible.

Key Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:57
"But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
Everyone wants to be a winner in life. But what does it truly mean to be a winner in God's kingdom? The world defines winning as success, wealth, and power, but God's definition is different. True victory is not just about achievements but about living a life that aligns with God's purpose. Below are the biblical principles of a winner:

1. A WINNER WALKS IN FAITH, NOT FEAR
Key Scripture: Hebrews 11:6
Winners in Christ are not moved by circumstances; they are moved by faith. The heroes of faith in Hebrews 11 faced obstacles, but they trusted in God's promises. When fear tries to stop you, faith offers you the strength to move forward.
- Abraham left his homeland by faith.
- David faced Goliath with faith, not fear.
- Jesus conquered sin and death through faith in the Father's will.
A winning lifestyle requires absolute trust in God, no matter what comes your way.

2. A WINNER LIVES A LIFE OF DISCIPLINE
Key Scripture: 1 Corinthians 9:24-25
"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training."
A true winner does not live carelessly, but follows God's discipline. Just as an athlete trains consistently to win a race, we must be disciplined in prayer, reading the Word, andliving righteously.

How can we develop spiritual discipline?
- Daily prayer and Bible study – strengthens our spiritual muscles.
- Obedience to God's commands – Keeps us on the right path.
- Resisting temptation – Ensures we don't lose focus.
Winners do not compromise their faith. They remain steadfast, knowing that their rewards come from God.

3. A WINNER OVERCOMES CHALLENGES WITH ENDURANCE
Key Scripture: James 1:12
Winners do not quit when life gets tough; they press on. The Bible is full of people who endured trials but never gave up.
- Joseph was betrayed, imprisoned, and forgotten—but he endured and became a ruler.
- Paul faced persecution, shipwrecks, and imprisonment—but he continued preaching.
- Jesus endured the cross for our salvation—He is the ultimate example of perseverance.
A winning lifestyle means standing firm in trials, knowing that victory is already assured through Christ.

4. A WINNER WALKS IN LOVE AND HUMILITY
Key Scripture: Philippians 2:3-4
The greatest winners in God's kingdom are those who serve others with love and humility. Jesus, the greatest winner of all, humbled Himself to serve others. True winners are not arrogant or selfish, but live to uplift others.
- Serve with a humble heart.
- Forgive quickly and love unconditionally.
- Seek to bless others rather than just receiving blessings.
When you walk in love and humility, God elevates you in due time.

5. A WINNER STAYS FOCUSED ON ETERNITY
Key Scripture: Colossians 3:2
A true winner understands that this world is temporary. Our ultimate prize is eternal life with Christ. We must live with heaven in mind, making choices that honour God.
- Don't be distracted by temporary pleasures.
- Seek God's kingdom first (Matthew 6:33).
- Keep your eyes on the eternal rewards.
Winners do not just live for today; they live with eternity in focus.
In conclusion, the lifestyle of a winner is not about worldly success, but about spiritual victory. A true winner consistently upholds and embodies all the principles outlined above.
Are you living as a winner today? If not, it's time to start. Trust in God, remain disciplined, persevere through trials, love others, and keep your focus on heaven. Victory is already yours through Christ!
In this month of March, I pray that you remain on the winning path. May victory locate you in every area where it has previously eluded you in Jesus' name. Amen.
Wishing you a victorious month ahead!
