In today's world, vocational skills are very essential, and cannot be sidelined. It is in recognition of this fact that we place great emphasis on clubs and societies at GSS. The aims and objectives of the clubs and societies are to educate our students on both basic and advanced skills required in each club, coach them on the excellent practice of these skills and also to stimulate their innate creativity.The clubs and societies afford our students the opportunity to display their creative skills, hone their crafts and also to take a breath of fresh air from the cumbersome classroom activities.
Membership of a club is mandatory for all our students. However, there is no form of coercion to belong to a particular club. Instead, they are offered the absolute freedom to pitch tent with any club that aligns with their passion and interest.
At the end of every term, an exhibition is staged for each club to showcase their projects, inventions, researches or findings.
The meeting time for our club and societies is every Wednesday, 3:00 p.m - 4:00p.m.
